2012 Showdown in San Angelo Presented by

DRAG BOAT RACES
"SHOWDOWN IN SAN ANGELO"
On Friday June 22nd we will have the first Test N Tune in San Angelo then qualifying on Saturday June 23th and Sunday June 24th 2012 eliminations will be held. This will be San Angelo's sixth annual drag boat races. Come see one of the fastest shows on the water, SHOWDOWN IN SAN ANGELO. This venue has been seen by many of the regular boat racers and spectators as the BEST on the circuit. Boats will line up side by side and run a liquid quarter mile at speeds of up to 250 miles per hour in less than 5 seconds. The liquid quarter mile lies between two of the most awesome spectator areas that you will see on the circuit. Walk the pits and see the boats up close. Talk to the drivers and crew and see them working on the boats for the next round. Buy t-shirts, photos, cards or posters and have your favorite driver autograph them.

VIP TICKETS INFORMATION
With a VIP Ticket you will receive: admission to the races for both Saturday and Sunday, admission to the VIP Tent on the Spring Creek side of Lake Nasworthy, VIP Shuttle Service from the ticket gate to the VIP Tent, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, access to the VIP Tents CASH bar.
A designated VIP parking area will be accessible while parking remains available.
The VIP Tent is a designated space covered by two large tents on the bank of the Spring Creek side of Lake Nasworthy.
Each VIP Admission Pass only admits one (1) person.
VIP tickets will only be sold at the Chamber of Commerce and at the Spring Creek ticket gate on the weekend of the races.
Children 12 and under may go into the VIP Tent if they are accompanied by an adult with a VIP pass. However, only people with VIP passes will be allowed to eat from the VIP buffet line.
In the VIP Tent there will be a CASH bar, fans, and a limited number of chairs for VIP spectators to use.
VIP spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair, as seating is limited.
People purchasing individual VIP tickets will not have assigned seats, or be guaranteed a seat at a table.
Spectators may bring in a cooler (with a cooler pass) and a lawn chair into the VIP Tent.
Under no circumstances may a pop-up tent be brought into the VIP area.
Beer, wine, and margaritas will be available at the cash bar.
Anyone may purchase an individual VIP pass for $125. There are only 250 VIP tickets available.
There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual can purchase.
Individual tickets for the VIP tent will be exchanged for wrist bands at the ticket gate.
Reserved tables of eight may be purchased in the VIP Tent for $1,000.
